Vision Board - Young women tend to get stuck in the day-to-day and forget that there is a broader purpose for their lives. By learning how to be intentional, understanding their worth and value, goal planning and setting boundaries, April will provide actionable steps for women to curate their personal vision through creating your own vision board. Make this one a girls' night out, a team building event or fundraiser. |
I so appreciate the generosity of spirit, strength, and courage as well as the grace, humility and love that April Sliwak has exemplified. April is the quintessential leader. Her attitude, approach and vision to build and mentor young women is truly one of a kind. It is no surprise that she was able to launch and build a successful non-profit organization, where hundreds of women across different backgrounds would be blessed. What's been on my heart lately is to provide a space for one hour of confidential prayer for marriages. Ephesians 3:20 says, "God who is able to do more than we can image or home for." God is for you and not against you. He is for your marriage. Prayer for your marriage, and your husband will change things, receive answers, give guidance and even heal. Mrs., prayer is the control you have for your marriage. Prayer allows us you to pray for anything that is on your heart about your marriage; finances, residence, love, respect, children, addiction, temperament, sex, boundaries, mothers-in-law (big one!), your job and motherhood. I'm married 35 years now, and I know how difficult it can be. Prayer is your superpower, Don't be afraid. I can assure you, the 'Villian' will do everything in his power to discourage you because he wants to destroy your marriage. 1 Peter 5:8-9. You don't have to pray out loud. Just attend and listen. April xx Answer to prayer (real story): After we prayed for each other’s marriages, April told us, “Now let’s wait for results”, and I wasn’t sure that I would see them so fast. But God showed me that he was listening to our prayers. Last night my husband and I had such a special night. He complemented me very much and we had a very nice conversation. Something that I was not expecting. I am blessed to have been part of this prayer time and I can’t wait to see what God will continue to do, not only in my marriage but in the marriage of the other ladies who were there. I hope more women can join this group and experience what God allowed me to experience in just one night of prayer. April holds a comfortable and judgment free space for women to gather and share what they are going through during the different seasons of life. April provides tender support and applicable tools for everyday challenges we may face. I always leave feeling totally filled up! |
2nd cup has been such a refreshing and needed time to fellowship and learn with other sisters in Christ. April leads with grace and love and keeps the dialogue very open and judgement free. I am so thankful for our time together and that God brought these women into my life. |
